MY APPROACH

I have a documentary lifestyle approach to family photos. Meaning it's pretty relaxed. It's all about being yourselves and connecting with each other in your safe space, the home. I strive to capture those precious everyday interactions with your littles in an emotive and artistic way. It's those intentional moments you have with each other in this unique season that is so heartwarming to look back on. I have a passion for capturing the beauty and authenticity of those fleeting yet powerful moments of connection. I strive to create images that are both timeless and evocative with an editing style that is both emotive and colorful.

What are the benefits of a home session? Your home is comfortable, cozy, and has all that you need. Whether your child needs a change, feed, or rocking chair, all your personal items are right there. You can relax in your own home which makes room for intimate interactions, which translates to very cozy photos. The connection you have with your family really shines through in this intimate setting. You can let big brother and sister have fun jumping on the bed and pop into the session to give baby little kisses when they feel ready. Or just snuggle with your partner and baby on your comfortable bed. The beauty of shooting at your home is adding memories of this new milestone to the legacy you guys have already created in the home, it’s very sentimental. Writing new memories on top of old memories, cuddling in the living room or baby room, and the older kids running around the house really aid in creating cozy feels in these sessions. These are my absolute favorite part of family and newborn photography.


Elaine is friendly, professional, and patient. She walked us through the whole process, from outfit selection to poses. My kids were... uncooperative... but Elaine remained calm and positive. Our photos arrived sooner (and more beautiful) than we expected. Do yourself a favor and book your family photos with Elaine!!!

Elaine LOVES kids and is so magical around them. She was able to get the most genuine and intimate moments between my sons. She did it so seamlessly. I didn't know if anyone else could capture my kids like myself (I'm also a photographer of 15 years, and very picky), but she did an INCREDIBLE job.

I felt she could see into my SOUL, and captured a side of me, I only WISH I could show people myself through a captured photograph. I love how crisp but soft the images are. You feel so much warmth and connection with the way the images are edited. It's just beautiful.
